Head Coach Announced

From MHS Athletic Director Staci Hahn:

Dear Parents & Players,

We are pleased to announce that a recommendation for the Head Girls Soccer Coaching position is on the school board agenda for this evening. While we know that this process has seen many unexpected turns, we appreciate your patience throughout this process and are excited for the upcoming season.

Nathan Andrews has been recommended for the position of Head Coach of the Girls Soccer program pending school board approval. The Andrews name is long established in the Marysville Soccer community. Nate was a standout soccer player as a Marysville graduate including a first team OCC and first team All-District selection while in high school. He was also an Adidas Coaches Choice all-star selection. He continued his soccer career as a Polar Bear at Ohio Northern University. He has been an Art instructor at Bunsold Middle School for the last 8 years and serves as an assistant wrestling coach at Marysville. Nate has also served as an assistant soccer coach at Olentangy Liberty from 2005 – 2007.

We will be working with Coach Andrews to hire assistant coaches as quickly as possible and that process has already begun. We will plan to schedule a Coach/Player/Parent meeting for the near future along with sharing summer dates. We will put out notification through this email grouping, on the school athletic website and schoology. Please feel free to pass information along to others interested in the program.
